To ensure the best gaming experience, it is recommended that PC gamers install the game on a Solid State Drive (SSD).

Gamers can check if their device has an SSD installed by:

  1. Opening your device and entering the operating system;
  2. Pressing the Win key + X key, then finding and clicking on "Disk Management";
  3. In the Disk Management window, selecting any disk, right-clicking, and clicking "Properties";
  4. In the disk properties window, opening the "Tools" tab and clicking the "Optimize" button. You can view your disk type in the Optimize Drives window.

Special Notes

For the PC platform, the game pre-download will be conducted through the miHoYo Launcher (referred to as "HoYoPlay" below).

If your device still has the "Tuning Test," "Noise Reduction Test," or "Noise Test" client installed, please uninstall the old client before using the Launcher for pre-download.

HoYoPlay Pre-download Instructions (PC)

If Proxy has not previously installed "HoYoPlay":

  1. Download the HoYoPlay installation package and unzip it.
  2. After installing HoYoPlay, click on the bottom left corner to enter the game aggregation page,
  3. Click on the "Zenless Zone Zero" game card to switch to the game details page.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to initiate the pre-download. Agree to the relevant options and select the installation path. Wait for the pre-download to complete.
  5. Once pre-download is complete, the game will appear in the left shortcut entry. You can quickly switch to the "Zenless Zone Zero" game details page by clicking the button.

If Proxy has already installed "HoYoPlay":

Proxy can directly click on the "Zenless Zone Zero" game card in HoYoPlay to switch to the game details page and pre-download game resources.

iOS Devices

  1. Open the App Store: On your iPhone or iPad, open the App Store app.
